Brief analysis of the impact of USA Presidential election on India and rest of the world.
USA election will be eviscerating on 3rd November, 2020. In this election Republican party has nominated Donald Trump for his 2nd term in the White House and Democratic party has nominated Joe Biden as their next presidential candidate . Few months ago Joe Biden was ahead in election survey compared to Donald Trump. But recently Trump have came strongly and again his popularity is increasing before election .
In the point of view of India :-
Presently relationship between India - USA is in a very pleasant state. Current president of US, Donald Trump said that 'he and Indian PM Narendra Modi are very good friend '. Between India - China clash Trump took side of India by praising Indian soldiers . If Trump wins the the US-India will not see much difference, moreover India might get support from US against China, presently which is more important for India. But if Joe Biden wins then what will happen we don't know . Last year on Kashmir issue ( article 370 ) Joe Biden had delivered some statements against India's interest, whereas Trump was silent. Joe Biden has chosen Kamala Harris as a running mate but she was also against India in the Kashmir issue ( article 370 ) . So if Joe Biden wins India - US relationship can face some complications . So if Joe Biden wins there may be some negative impact in India - USA relation .
In the point of view of Taiwan :-
Recently a 62 billion dollars defense deal was signed between Taiwan and US. According to the deal USA will deliver 90 advance level F-16 s fighter jets to Taiwan . Trump also promised Taiwanese President that whenever need he will support Taiwan . He has taken side of Taiwan in the excitement between Taiwan and China . Now if Trump wins the 2nd term then Taiwan can definitely hope to get US support in the area of defense and economy . If Joe Biden wins then we may no see such defense deals. Without US support Taiwan can face many problems from the side of China.
In the point of view of China :-
Trump imposed several sanctions on Chain which have left deep impact on Chinese economy. For assisting Taiwan he went against China and deployed USA aircraft carriers in South China sea . Between India - China excitement Trump has taken side of India. So if he wins he will impose more sanctions on China , economically which is harmful for China . Joe Biden committed that if he is elected as next president then he will revoke these US sanctions on China , which will be beneficial for Chinese economy . So China deep inside in it's heart would like Joe Biden to win next presidential election rather than Trump .
In the point of view of Iran :-
Iran- US relationship has been unpleasant for decades . Trump imposed several sanctions on Iran . Due to the sanction of USA, India has reduced import of crude oil and also has put temporary halt of investment in Chabahar port development project. Consequently Iran stared dealing with China. Assessing the situation India decided to resume the investment on Chabahar port . Joe Biden committed that if he wins then he will revoke the sanctions . Then India - Iran relation can again flourish without any fear of sanctions.
In the point of view of Russia :-
Joe Biden committed that he thinks Russia is premier enemy of USA . Win of Joe Biden will surely have some negative impact on Russia .
Trump in his 1st term has not taken too many harsh decisions regarding Russia. If Trump wins his 2nd term then we may see some new developments in US-Russia relations. Trump considers China to be the number one enemy for US and main obstacle in its economical developments. In his 2nd term if Trump hold some bilateral talks with Putin we should not be surprised. To counter China US needs to take Russia in its confidence. Removing sanctions on Russia may be a good step forwar for Trump in his Chinese endeavor.
